Sea of Sharks

Sea of Sharks is a very simple but challenging mobile game played in horizontal (landscape) mode only.

The goal is to get a higher score (higher time duration having survived) as the user swims through a shark-infested sea as a little fish.

The user controls the fish using a joystick, which only has effective movement up or down. The fish will continue to move forward (left to right) at a constant pace.

The sharks vary in size, but not in speed as they approach from the right of the screen. Some of them have curved movement which launches the trajectory of the shark to go up or down to the Y-axis position of the fish at the moment that the shark spawned.

Press the green "Play" button to start. At the end of each game, the time score is displayed, but it is only stored if it is a new "Best Time"/"High Score". After a couple of seconds on the "Game Over" screen, the user is returned to the home screen from which they can start a new game.

Sea of Sharks is available on iPhone and iPad.

Four Goals

Four Goals is a mobile game in which users try to score as many goals as they can.

On the left of the game screen is a joystick which the user uses to move the ball. Swiping anywhere on the gamescreen causes the ball to launch in the direction of the swipe and with the force of the swipe. That is a useful way to try to score goals.

There are four goals and two blockers which move to try to prevent the user from scoring. The user gets 15 seconds to try to score before they lose a life. The user gets three lives at the start of the game, and once all of those are out, the game ends. If the user is blocked by a blocker they lose a life and reset to the center. When the ball is in the center square, they cannot score by a swipe. There are also four sections corresponding to each goal, and only inside the section of the goal can the user score on that particular goal.

Try to get the highest score you can.

Four Goals is available on iPhone and iPad.

Old Man Chillin’

Old Man Chillin’ is a mobile game played in horizontal (landscape) mode only.

To control the player, use the joystick to the left of the screen - this will turn the player to the right or left and move in that direction, or it will go up to jump. To throw a M-Capture Cube, swipe on the screen and the throw will respond to the direction and power of your throw. You can only throw in the direction you are facing.

The goal is to protect the old man’s rest as long as possible by throwing the cubes on and vanishing the “Meckers”. When one of the “Meckers” reaches the old man, the game is over. “Meckers” will be yellow or red, and either on the ground or in the air - those that are red move faster than those that are yellow, and those that are in the air move faster than those that are on the ground.

The score will be a combination of the time survived (+1 for every 10 seconds), and +1 for every “Mecker” that disappears, +2 if you captured 2 in a row, and +3 if you captured 3 in a row or more. And if you go all the way to the spawner hut of the “Meckers” and eliminate all of them (as long as there were at least 2 within the last second) you then clear the Meckers temporarily and get a +20 bonus to your score.

Old Man Chillin’ is available on iPhone and iPad.

Laser Cars

Laser Cars is a mobile game in which players control a vehicle to try to claim as many of the stones as they can. They compete with a CPU vehicle to claim these stones first. After a stone is captured, a new one spawns at a random spot apart from the vehicles and the previous stone within the playing field.

Players can launch lasers as well at the CPU which can do likewise to disrupt the path to the stone or force them to reset to the starting point at the center if hit.

There are two buttons for control - the joystick to move the vehicle and the “Shoot” button to launch lasers.

There are three game modes: 1) Survival - where the player has three lives and tries to capture as many stones as they can before their lives run out, each time the CPU captures a stone taking away a life, 2) Competition - where the player competes with the CPU to try to capture ten stones first and 3) Timed - where the player competes with the CPU for three minutes to capture more stones.

Laser Cars is available on iPhone and iPad.

Popcorn Colors

Popcorn Colors puts the player’s attention to detail and decision-making to the test under the pressure of time. Every round fills with a new set of popcorns of varying colors, but only one popcorn leads to success. Tap on that one popcorn - it is the only one of its color in a given set while the others are one amongst a group - and the player succeeds and gains a point, receiving a new set of popcorn. There are three seconds to tap the correct one - if time runs out or the wrong popcorn is tapped, the game ends.

Play only in portrait mode (vertical).

Popcorn Colors is available on iPhone and iPad.

Pairs of Squares

Pairs of Squares is a mobile game in which a color is called at all times, and when a pair of squares of that color passes by the player must shoot a ball in the space between the pair of squares.

If a player shoots between the wrong color for a pair, misses the space - including hitting the squares themselves, or simply does not shoot the ball in time before the pair reaches the end of the screen, the game ends.

The pairs move at two different speeds to mix things up and make the game more challenging.

Pairs of Squares is very simple, but by no means easy - it is very challenging, instead, and takes a lot of mental capacity to excel at.

Pairs of Squares is available on iPhone and iPad.
